Material Logic

Material Logic brings together five sculptors whose work interrogates the language of industry — concrete, rebar, glass wool, and raw timber repurposed into objects that hover between the functional and the poetic.

Across the five artists' work, a common preoccupation emerges: how do materials carry memory? How does the context of production shape the meaning of an object?

Mira Okonkwo's large-scale concrete pours anchor the exhibition's entry. Jonah Reyes contributes a series of suspended rebar armatures. Lena Strauss works with glass wool, sculpting translucent forms that catch and diffuse light. Dev Patel's reclaimed timber pieces explore the grain of labor. Caro Müller presents a site-specific installation commissioned for the space.
